Governor Ron DeSantis signed Executive Order 20-123 to be effective on Monday, May 18, 2020 implementing a Full Phase 1: Safe. Smart. Step-by Step Plan for Florida’s Recovery. This Executive Order allows restaurants, inside retail businesses, museums and libraries as well as gyms to now operate up to fifty (50) percent of their building occupancy and abide by the safety guidelines issued by CDC and OSHA.
With this Executive Order in place, ECF can begin to reschedule our CE seminars that were previously delayed due to Covid-19 and the Florida Stay At Home Order as long as we abide by the guidelines in the Full Phase 1 order.
Staff is working with all of the Chapter Leaders to reschedule the dates and in some cases, the location for the seminars and hopes to have a schedule and registration open by the end of the month.
In addition, the Electrical Contractors Licensing Board (ECLB) will be announcing shortly a decision made at their May 15th meeting that will allow all State licensed providers to utilize approved classroom courses via virtual online classes. Once this announcement has been made by ECLB, staff will be working with our instructors to make some of our classes available on line to our members.
Please watch for emails that will be coming out shortly with the scheduling and registration of the classes.
