The State Electrical Council of Florida in partnership with the Manasota Chapter is pleased to announce Continuing Education (CE) Courses to be offered on February 17 & 18, 2012.

The Electrical Contractors Licensing Board (ECLB) Continuing Education requirements for Electrical Contractors for the renewal period

September 1, 2010 - August 31, 2012, are as follows:

Fourteen hours of ECLB approved continuing education. Seven hours must be on technical subjects;

One hour on workers’ compensation;

One hour on workplace safety;

One hour on business practices;

and a One hour approved advanced building structural course.

Contractors who are engaged in alarm system contracting must also take a two hour False Alarm Prevention course.
