Our September 17^th meeting will be a great program about unlicensed and/or illegal activity in the electrical trade.  We are fortunate to have several speakers joining us from various Government Agencies such as Mr. Sergio Gonzalez, Regional Program Administrator, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and Detective Darrell Aubuchon, of the Lee County Sheriff’s Department. 

We will learn what each of these agencies are doing to investigate reports of unlicensed contracting and to protect consumers from unsavory, illegal and often shoddy workmanship.  We will also learn what we can do as an industry to help report unlicensed activity and how by working together, we can prevent some of this activity in our area.  Unlicensed contracting costs you, the licensed contractor, business and money.
