Tampa Chapter Monthly Meeting Wednesday, September 17th, 2014

For September’s meeting Southern Region Field Representative Bryan P. Holland will our guest speaker. Bryan was added to the NEAM team on May 19, 2014 bringing his nearly 20-years of experience in the electrical industry. Bryan started his electrical career right out of high school as an apprentice electrician in the ECF Manasota Chapter program. He soon became a journeyman electrician, master electrician, and licensed electrical contractor. Bryan obtained his International Code Council (ICC) certification in 2004. He then worked for the City of North Port, Florida as an electrical inspector and plans examiner. He was promoted to Chief Inspector in 2011 and then Building Official in 2012. Bryan currently holds not less than ten professional licenses, over twenty FEMA certifications, and thirty-four ICC certifications including Master Code Professional. Bryan is a member of the several organizations such as NFPA, ICC, BOAF, IAEI and UL. Bryan will be sharing how NEMA and his position as the Southern Field Representative can assist the Electrical Contractors.

As a follow up to last month’s topic, our guest speaker was Marc Duquella with TECO. Marc made a presentation the 2014 SESR publication requirements that directly affect the Electrical contractors. Marc was also able to answer some of the questions that the Electrical Contractors had directly related to specific TECO service requirements.
