with the Volusia Chapter is pleased to announce 
the following Continuing Education Courses to be 
offered on April 20 & 21, 2012.  
DeLand Conference and Business Center

The Electrical  Contractors Licensing Board (ECLB) Continuing Education requirements for Electrical Contractors for the renewal period 
September 1, 2010 - August 31, 2012, are as follows:  

Fourteen hours of ECLB approved continuing education. 
Seven hours must be on technical subjects; 
One hour on workers’ compensation; 
One hour on workplace safety;  
One hour on business practices; 
One hour approved advanced building structural course.  

Contractors who are engaged in alarm system contracting must also take a two hour False Alarm Prevention course.  If you do not need False Alarms credit, the hours will convert to “General” credits.
