“Hazard Communication Information Seminar”

Are you aware of the new Hazard Communication Standard (HCS)?
The new Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) is now aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). This update to the HCS will provide a common and coherent approach to classifying chemicals and communicating
hazard information on labels and safety data sheets. Employers are now required by OSHA to train employees on the new elements of the GHS, in addition to the previous requirements of the HCS standard. This change will impact virtually every employer in the United States.
*Please Note: This seminar does not meet the requirements for the new standard, but will provide information on what training and materials will be necessary for the new standard.
