GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Welcome Back Pinellas Chapter Members. Prior to the start of the January 30th program, 2013 State ECF President Tom McDonald will be on hand to recognize Wes Colley for his many contributions for serving as the past State ECF Field Representative and to present him with a State Life ECF Membership.  Wes was nominated for ECF State Life Membership by the Pinellas Chapter for his long term support and approved by the State Board at their June Mid-Year Conference.

The January and February 2014 Meetings will have two great programs dealing with the 2011 Code Changes found in the NEC 110.24, Available Fault Currents and an overview of Arc Flash Current, NFPA 70-E.  Steve Malich, Patriot Engineering & Associates, Inc. will walk us through the code calculation process as well as the dangers of arc flash. Steve will also present information NFPA 70 E and OSHA 1910.  This information will provide an overview of Electrical Safety in the Workplace and help protect ourselves from the dangers of arc flash.
